Sunshine Coast Diesel Tuning – Disclaimer & Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing Sunshine Coast Diesel Tuning. By using our services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

  1. Legal Use & Compliance

Vehicle modifications may not comply with local, state, or federal laws (including ADR – Australian Design Rules). Our services are intended for off-road or race use only, unless otherwise stated. It is your responsibility as the vehicle owner to ensure your vehicle is legal and roadworthy if driven on public roads.

We are not liable for any fines, penalties, or legal issues from non-compliant modifications. By using our services, you accept full responsibility for understanding and following all relevant laws and regulations.

  1. Risk & Liability Waiver

Modifying your vehicle carries inherent risks. We are not responsible for any damage, failure, or performance issues that may occur during or after the modification process. This includes engine failure, electrical faults, or compatibility issues with existing vehicle systems.

You agree to release Sunshine Coast Diesel Tuning, its staff, and contractors from any liability for damages, breakdowns, or costs (such as towing, repairs, or lost time) related to modifications performed.

  1. Your Authorization & Responsibilities

By booking with us, you authorize Sunshine Coast Diesel Tuning to carry out agreed modifications. You understand that:

We are not liable for any issues related to warranty, insurance, or legal compliance.

  1. Payment Terms

Card payment fees apply:

  1. Vehicle Road Testing

To ensure the vehicle operates correctly, we may need to road test it. Road testing will only occur if you provide valid insurance that covers our staff during operation.

If an accident occurs and our staff is at fault, we will only cover your insurance excess – not additional costs or claims.

  1. Workshop Security & Liability

We take all reasonable steps to keep your vehicle safe. However, we are not liable for damage, loss, or theft caused by events outside our control (e.g. natural disasters, fire, vandalism).

We recommend removing valuables before dropping off your vehicle.

  1. Use of Workshop Equipment

Our equipment is used safely and professionally. If any damage occurs to our tools due to issues with your vehicle, you are responsible for repair or cleanup costs.

  1. Dyno Testing (Dynamometer Use)

Our Dynotech dyno subjects vehicles to high stress during tuning. While necessary, this can result in mechanical failures (e.g. tire blowouts, driveline issues).

We are not responsible for damage caused by dyno testing. If the failure results in damage to our equipment or cleanup costs, you will be held responsible.

  1. Fuel Policy

Vehicles must arrive with at least 50% fuel in the tank, unless otherwise advised. If refueling is needed, charges apply:

By proceeding with our services, you confirm that you understand and agree to these terms. For any questions, please contact us prior to your booking.
