This is now the second time I’ve used Sunshine Coast Diesel Tuning, and once again Ben has saved me a heap of money and done an awesome job.

My cooling system was being pressurised by exhaust gases. I’d taken it to another mechanic and was quoted around $1,500 for a new EGR cooler, or potentially around $5,000 if it turned out to be the head.

I called Ben and explained what was happening. He told me to bring it in and said he was confident he could fix it for around $500.

Picked the car up yesterday — problem completely fixed and the bill was $500, exactly as he said.

Ben really knows his stuff. What I appreciate most is that he actually diagnoses the problem properly instead of just throwing expensive parts at the car.

After using him twice now, I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else for diesel tuning, upgrades or this type of work.

Unreal couldnt ask for a better tuner I called last minute literally last minute in deer need of a tune so I could go away and he fit me in and got it done took the time to explain what goes into it and even showed me what the next step is for good power and he was quick and I can’t fault a single thing about the tune highly recommend and will be back soon

I just had a tune done on my Next Gen V6 Ranger.  The results far exceeded my expectations with both torque & fuel economy.  I did not expect the change to be so great especially when not towing. Took my VW Transporter in to Ben for a tune and couldn’t be happier with the result. Ben was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything properly, rather than just chasing big numbers.

The van has noticeably more power and torque and feels much better to drive, while still keeping the tune sensible and reliable. I particularly liked that Ben was focused on a smooth torque curve and the long-term reliability of the vehicle.

Communication was excellent, the service was professional, and you can tell Ben takes pride in his work.

Ben at Sunshine Coast diesel tuning just carried out an ECU ReMap, upgraded intercooler and exhaust on my 2025 Next Gen Ranger. He was great to communicate with and worked in with my busy schedule. I’m very happy with the work he done on my Ute. After reaching out to multiple companies to get the work done on my Ute I’m very happy that I chose Sunshine Coast diesel tuning.
